The Núcleo de Estudantes de Biologia da Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa ("Biology Students' Association of the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon") represents all students - BSc, MSc and PhD - from FCUL's Departments of Animal Biology and Plant Biology.

During the first semester of the current academic year, the NEBFCUL's Pedagogical Department produced a survey to evaluate which are the preferred research areas of the BSc students (3 different years). 

After analysing the results, the NEBFCUL decided to create the 1st BioSAM - Biological Sciences Annual Meeting!

The BioSAM can be an opportunity not only for the BSc students, but also to MSc and PhD who can get in touch with some of the most interesting topics and scientists that Lisbon has to offer. NEBFCUL will always be committed to the creation of science communication events that, without a doubt, enrich the knowledge and academic journey of the students. This BioSAM is focusing all NEBFCUL's efforts and we hope to give the participants the best experience possible! Welcome!
